Rifampicin

Rifampicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic drug belonging to the rifamicin family, which has strong antibacterial effect on tuberculosis bacillus, and also has curative effect on gram-positive or gram-negative bacteria and viruses.

Usually taken orally in capsules or tablets, it works synergistically with other anti-tb drugs and delays the emergence of drug-resistant strains.It is mainly used to treat tuberculosis, meningitis and staphylococcus aureus infections.External use can treat trachoma.
